The Kleo Barrett Angel Foundation was organized in April 2007 after a beautiful young lady, Kleo Yolaughn Barrett, a 27 year old Cook County Deputy Sheriff, was killed by an ex-boyfriend, who then shot and killed himself. All of Kleo's life was spent loving and caring for her family members, her friends, her co-workers and anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her.  She always went out of her way to do something special for people, whether she knew you or not.   Kleo Barrett at the age of 27 (always smiling)	Our Goals We want to continue Kleo's good works of blessing others through the KBAF whose primary purpose is to educate, provide assistance and ultimately eradicate domestic violence against women   Kleo's Own Words: Be a Blessing to the very next person you see; Do Something special; It may even be; Just being Nice! God Bless. The KBAF will do just what Kleo would want; by providing aid and support to the women of domestic violence and/or their families.
